CORNWALL LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
GOLITHA FALLS & COLLIFORD LAKE
A 4 hour afternoon landscape photography tuition workshop course on the southern fringes of the Bodmin Moor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Cornwall.
From £129-£199 per person.
DESCRIPTION
We will meet in the car park for the Golitha Falls National Nature Reserve, near Liskeard, Cornwall. Postcode PL14 6RX. what3words ///items.ballparks.devours
From the car park we will then walk through the ancient oaks and beeches of Draynes Wood to the gorge where the River Fowey flows in a series of spectacular cascades and waterfalls that drop nearly 100 metres in altitude. After 90 minutes or so we will drive the short distance to Colliford Lake Nature Reserve to shoot the ‘flooded forest’ and hopefully a spectacular sunset too.
This workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 participants (a minimum of 3 at the £129.00 rate), if you would prefer it can also be run on an individual 1 to 1 basis for £199.00.
In addition to visiting these stunning locations we will cover the following topics to improve your images and the enjoyment of your photography; composition, how to read light, the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO, hyper focal distance, depth of field, shooting RAW, the histogram and anything else you may wish to learn or cover.
Ideally you will have a digital SLR or mirrorless camera with a wide angle and a standard to medium telephoto zoom (or prime) lenses, plus a tripod. Filters including a polariser would be useful and solid neutral density (ND) filters are essential if you wish to capture long exposures.
